COURSE FACILITIES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

It has, regrettably, become legally necessary for us to draw your attention
to some TERMS and CONDITIONS relating to the provision of accomodation facilities.

Normally people are asked to bring their own: duvet cover,bedsheet,pillowcase,towels. These can be provided at an extra charge

We reserve the right to charge an extra NoK 150, per day for those who insist on having a single room to themselves. Equally, we will reduce the price by NoK 50 per day for those who share a room with more than 2 persons (that is 3 persons or more sharing). Availability of single rooms is NOT guaranteed and depends upon course numbers attending

Course leaders set their own terms for course fees and obtain a set fee per person per day from us for food and accomodation. Unless otherwise stated BY US DIRECTLY payment is made for food/accomodation at the time of attendance(deltagande). Any advance payments required by course leaders in no way imply a responsibility on our part to provide food and accomodation unless such payment is also made to us in advance and a contract is thus formed between us and the course participants.

Single room extra charge

We reserve the right to refuse to accept for course accomodation any person or group if we so choose and a contract with a course leader by any course participant is not considered binding upon us unless and until the course leader has a written acceptance from ourselves (a course leader must supply to us a list of named participants and their address information before
an acceptance can be confirmed)

Additional transport facilities where no suitable public transport is available are provided by us as a kindness and at our discretion and without charge other than a donation towards the cost of bensin. This is by prior arrangement of at least 72 hours notice to us.

We make every endeavour to ensure your attendance is comfortable but accept no responsibility for :

extreme weather conditions,
loss of electricity/water due to adverse weather or supply failure,
the individual behaviour of course participants (which is under the control of the course leader)

We have attempted to ensure your safety in all reasonable ways and would point out that:

Our electricity installations are to a very high standard and include 'earth failure cutout devices' and double fused circuits in the studio building.
Our new building was constructed to a higher standard than that required by current (2004) building regulations

smoking and naked flames are forbidden in the buildings (candles are permitted in the studio and dining areas).
drugs and alcohol are not permitted (the latter by special agreement at,e.g., New Year).
attendance at our premises is at the participant's own risk.
